Handyman in Jakarta charges me Rp130k per day. This excludes drinks (water & coffee), lunch (yes, we provide meals here), and materials.
As for material costs, you can find a reference from Tokopedia online market place (similar to eBay). Anyway, I finally found a good handyman in Bali from the internet.
His name is Mr Anang. I was lucky to meet him. Fast response. Transparent cost for the materials. Very neat job.
His daily rate is Rp150k. I spent about Rp700k to install a big exhaust fan, 2 small canopies, buy building materials, plus one extra helper. He completed the job in one day. (Fyi, other home repairs offered me Rp1.5 million for this job) Therefore, I am promoting his service here.
